Köhlers Forsthaus is the only wellness hotel in Aurich and the only oldtimer hotel in East Friesland. The restaurant has won several awards. We appeal to a wide range of guests. The aim is to keep Köhlers Forsthaus competitive by raising the quality level, to secure the market position in the long term and to meet the constantly increasing demands. Increasing occupancy rates and rising sales in the restaurant and wellness areas are important factors. We made the investment decision to make the business more competitive, to secure jobs and to prepare the business with regard to a handover to the next generation. The expansion of the hotel makes it possible to create more socially just jobs and to make jobs more flexible.
